It’s been over two months since the last installment of hilarious PSN names, and in the last two days I’ve stumbled upon a plethora of silly names and thought it only proper to share.

It’s funny how such a long spell can go by without seeing many amusing names (to be fair, there are an awful lot of awful names out there…most dealing with the same themes), and then a 24 hour period can provide so many. One actually caused me to snerk out loud.

I love it.

This sounded like something straight out of Super Troopers. I learned this at the weigh station.

5. GramerPolease
Okay, I am a stickler for proper grammar and spelling (except where aberrations are used for emphasis). Sometimes in the online space, I am in the minority. And even though this was clearly done in blatant irony, I got a kick out of it.

4. HYPERSHARK
I am more than willing to accept that I have an overt fondness for shark silliness (in fact, I recently found a shirt that references “sharkasm” and it may, or may not, now belong to me), and the idea of a hyper shark just amused me to no end.

3. MISTER_RUMP
The word “rump” makes me giggle like a twelve year old. It sounds just like what it is. I love words like that.

2. SQUISHYPUFF
MARSHMALLOWWWS!!! Honestly, this name is adorable. And makes me think of Kirby. Who is also adorable.

1. JCPASSAFIST
Okay, first of all, this is the name I snerked out loud at. It tickles my brain on more than one level.

One: I adore musical theatre. This rings of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Two: The play on “pacifist” was great.

Three: The fact that it was a play on “pacifist” and instead says “pass a fist” just…yeah. I was endlessly tickled. Punch those minions of the darkness. Pass that fist, JC!

I love that there are folks out there who are so creative, especially when it isn’t the norm on this platform. These people are keeping things interesting. And I appreciate it. Without them, the grind of Destiny would be far less smile-inducing.

And with that, off I go to appreciate Xursday as he finally has those coveted heavy ammo synths. I may, or may not (but totally do), have over 400 heavy ammo synths now. More will be procured after I do the weekly on all my characters. My vault is packed to the gills with synths. It’s a glorious sight.
