Every once in a while (who am I kidding, somewhat often), I have no idea what to write and I find myself in a pinch to get that writing done. Last month I decided to do a stream of consciousness and, in these wee hours of Thursday morning, while I’m realizing I need to finish Far Cry 5 today so I can focus on God of War tonight (!!!), I decided to do it again.

Please forgive me. I hope you enjoy it.

“Cahoots” is a funny word.

I love plants, but they won’t grow well in our apartment. Only one side of the apartment has windows, and our living room has no windows at all. We recently acquired some lovely and small fake plants and they make a huge difference. I know they aren’t real, but they look great and are quite aesthetic.

I try to wash Cloud’s dog bowls each day. I wouldn’t want to eat or drink out of a dirty bowl, and I don’t want him to have to.

Bathtub farts sound like dolphins.

I love glow sticks. Sometimes I will crack a couple into activation just for funsies.

I have mixed feelings on the word “funsies.”

Several years ago, my partner decided he wanted to do something for his birthday and he almost never wants anything. He wanted us to play “blazer tag,” which is regular laser tag while wearing blazers. We went with a couple of friends and I’d just like to point out, wearing a blazer while running around in a box is hot as heck. We were a sweaty bunch. But what a funny sight we made.

I like super brightly colored eye shadow. Shoot, I like super brightly colored makeup. I like imprecise makeup, but I do believe in blending.

I have a washi tape obsession. I love using it in my correspondence. It doesn’t come close to my love for stickers, but I do love it.

I think food is a pain in the ass. If food pills were available, I’d absolutely be down to take them. Food is expensive and requires so much time and attention. If I could take three food pills a day, one for each meal, I would. Also, think about the implications to tackle world hunger! As it is, I drink Ensure shakes on a regular basis when I don’t feel like fussing over food (I just had one a couple hours ago when I woke up a little after midnight).

Oriental lilies are my favorite flowers. They are huge, alien-looking pods that open into glorious and fragrant blooms. Also, the smell reminds me of band-aids and I enjoy that smell. They just look so excited. I adore them.

I am feeling the need for a massive purge of belongings. This happens to me fairly often. I love a spare environment, and I’ve been feeling the pull to streamline further. I’ve also been feeling the mad urge to paint a whole slew of new paintings. One of these days I will get to the fancy art store to pick up several large canvases. I have all kinds of ideas rattling around my head and I’d love to bring them to fruition.

Well there you have it. Random thoughts from 2am me.

And now, back to haul ass in Far Cry 5 so I can finish in time for God of War tonight. I’m so excited, I can’t wait to play it. My friend is also picking it up at faux midnight release (albeit halfway across the country from where I am), and his plan is to literally stay up all night and play it.

This game is bringing out the excitement. I love that.
