Back In The Groove (And Back, Again)

A couple weeks ago, my friend Mike created what is easily my favorite video of his to date. He is the heart and soul behind Fudge Films, and is passionate about creating. His video was to celebrate the release of a new ToeJam and Earl game: ToeJam and Earl: Back in the Groove.

I’ve easily watched this over a dozen times; I love everything about it.

After watching it so many times, I found myself humming the song so I asked him what it was. Turns out, it is the theme song for the new game, and they made a music video for it (!!!) so I started watching THAT video, too.

I have listened to/watched that music video at least 20 times in the past two days. I bought the song off iTunes. I can’t get enough. There is nothing I don’t like about the video. I love the song, the visuals, the two rappers, the dancing, the stylization of everything, I just love the hell out of all of it.

Sometimes I get completely sucked in to video game soundtracks, scores, or songs. But it’s not super often I get into a loop this heavy. As I’m typing this, I have the video on in the background. I legit love this song and I legit love this video. It’s just wholesome and fun and lovely. Both of these videos are. If you have a moment, I can’t recommend them enough.

And now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a one-person dance party to attend. You know the playlist.
