Every year, there are a handful of days that see more than their share of heavy hitting releases. Today, it’s Far Cry New Dawn and Metro Exodus. It’s even stranger considering most new releases hit on Tuesdays, yet here we are.
I have both titles coming today but, of the two, I’m more excited to play Metro Exodus. I’m also cautiously looking forward to playing Far Cry New Dawn even though I didn’t enjoy Far Cry 5 nearly as much as I’d hoped. I’m a sucker for the Far Cry series, but I feel like it’s been downhill since Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
I can always go back and play both of those.
Will you be partaking in either big release today? Or both? Or neither?

This weekend I hope to dive in to Metro Exodus. I would also like to get to some of the Crimson Days event in Destiny 2. Last night I played a couple matches of Crimson Doubles and I darn near had a heart attack it was so intense. We won both matches but both were down to the wire. I’d like to pop back in to see if I can perform better.
With that I ask: what will YOU be playing this weekend?

I’m not sure if you caught the livestream GI just did of Anthem but OOF. It crashed on them several times and then hard crashed once. Apparently Reiner is doing their review of it, and he said it may not land for a couple weeks because he isn’t sure how stable the servers will be. That doesn’t look so promising. :(

I’ve never been into Mortal Kombat so I’m not sure I’ve got any opinion on that, but The Division 2 looks promising! I’m excited to play it! I love the DC setting.
