  1. I caught bits and pieces as it happened. All in all solid announcements. Just mostly not my preferred games. I’m weighing whether or not to try to catch up in Assassins Creed (I’m halfway through Black Flag, those follow missions really sapped the game’s momentum) before Origins releases. I’m still trying to recover from the fact that Origins has a $799 edition. I feel like that edition should come with your own actual assassin. Thanks for the overview!

    • I was very excited about Assassins Creed: Origins, too, and I am super behind on the series as well.

Oh gosh, when I saw that edition and the price I was like…really now? Who is buying that edition? Even huge fans of the series, who is buying it?

And of course! I love this!

  2. I feel like Ubisoft had a decent conference, there was nothing mind-blowing but it was good. Assassin’s Creed Origins continues to impress. Most of all I’m looking forward to exploring that stunning Egyptian setting. And Far Cry looks awesome as always. Go Boomer!

I am however a little confused by the reception that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is getting. The fact that it is removed from the story of the first and now a multiplayer focused game to boot seems a little odd. It just doesn’t seem like the game that everyone has been asking for, but maybe I’m wrong.

Also thanks for including all of the release date information in these recaps; it’s been super helpful as I update my game watch list!

    • I agree, though I am more excited for Origins than I have been about any other Ass Creed title.

Oh my gosh, Boomer and I are going to have some good times, yessiree.

I also was a bit puzzled by the Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer. I mean, the first ended on quite the cliffhanger. I would have assumed they would want to pick up from there. Also I miss Pey’j.

Of course! I LOVE this! :)

  3. I was pretty satisfied with Ubisoft’s conference. The titles I expected to see, Assassin’s Creed Origins and Far Cry 5, looked great. Skull & Bones and Beyond Good & Evil 2 were pleasant surprises that I’m looking forward to seeing more of and playing. I’m also glad for Switch owners that the Mario + Rabbids crossover is coming out soon since having new games to play for the system is always a good thing. I might check that out when I finally decide to get a Switch. Thanks for the recap Rebekah!

    • I’m right there with you on your feelings about the conference. Many things looked good, but I wasn’t blown away. Still, a solid outing for Ubisoft.

And you are quite welcome! I love doing this!
