This has been a heck of a week; it was strange and mentally draining. All I’m feeling as I write this is a big ol’ NOPE.

So I found that balloon nope above (by artist Cindy Nguyen), and figured I’d spare all of us and just say:

IT’S FINALLY FRIDAY THANK GOD AND NOW IT’S TIME FOR A WEEKEND OF GAMES AND GAMING AND HOPEFULLY CAKE FOR SOME REASON AND GOOD COMPANY AND GOOD MUSIC AND COMFY COUCHES AND COOL BREEZES AND NICE PEOPLE NO MATTER WHERE ANY OF US ARE.

This weekend I’d like to carry on in the Borderlands remaster, as well as pop back in to The Division 2. I’m also hoping to paint something! I finally have my canvases and paint and I’d love to create a piece or two. I’m also knee deep in a huge organization project, and I need to put together two more shelves to finish a shelf swap I’ve been working on. I also need to buy a new vacuum because apparently two years of incessant vacuuming of husky fur from every surface has rendered our current vacuum sad.

Also I really want to buy a sheet cake for some reason because a ton of frosting on a corner piece sounds f’ing great.

Oh! I also want to finally put bias lighting behind my television because I’ve been wanting to for ages and I have the lights and everything.

OH MY F*CKING GOD

I’ve never talked about this before, but we live on a busy street and we are often exposed to all kinds of interesting characters. One guy, who I mysteriously refer to as “Harmonica Guy,” shows up at random times to play the harmonica (loudly) for HOURS.

The thing about Harmonica Guy is I’ve never been able to tell if he’s a really good faker at playing the harmonica, or if he super knows what he’s doing and just likes to make people think that maybe he doesn’t.

Well the MF’er is outside right now as I type this and it’s after freaking MIDNIGHT.

BRO.

YOU MUST HARMONICA ELSEWHERE. OR LATER. OR BOTH.

Oh my god, if you could hear this, you would surely laugh. He’s just sawing away at that thing like WAHOOO YOU WEREN’T TRYING TO SLEEP WERE YOU?! OF COURSE NOT! NO ONE SLEEPS AT NIGHT. HAVE YOU HEARD MY MF-ING HARMONICA?

Holy crap.

You know what I give Harmonica Guy right now?

I’m sure he means well, but dude. It’s after midnight. Maybe put that thing in your pocket until the sun comes back.

Oh my god it’s like being in an endless queue for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland.

HE IS GETTING LOUDER WHY IS THIS HAPPENING

I am sitting here literally shaking my head.

Oh wow. Now he is just playing weird sounds. Perfect. Just when I thought it was maybe as bad as it would get.

He sounds like an exuberant and spastic bird.

ANYWAY.

So my early weekend is off to a heck of a start.

With that I ask: what will YOU be playing this weekend? Are you planning on playing the harmonica loudly in the middle of the night in a heavily populated urban area? If so, I know someone who might be able to give you tips.
