Ready For The Weekend

My brain is exhausted and I’m very ready for the weekend. My only goal for today is to not sit on the couch and cry most of the day like I did yesterday.

It’s a low bar to clear.

I don’t care what I play. I don’t care if it’s a good game or a bad game; I will simply be glad to play.

I could stand to lose myself in a digital world right now.

So, today’s piece is a short one. I’m making a concerted effort to play something to try to distract my mind from the crushing weight it has been under.

With that I ask: what will you be playing this weekend? Do you ever find games soothing when you are distraught?

Whatever you do, please be safe out there.

      Unfortunately, I have not. I want to play Smash! And Kirby. And Odyssey. WHEW.

      • Lol, don’t worry about it. I know you’ve been having a rough time writing as is these past months.
        I’m doing well, these days the site is going swimmingly. The indie publishers are really very forthcoming, I even have to let review codes go because there’s not enough writers to take them on!
