First off, I’m writing this late. I usually write the night before but, last night, after I’d been up for nearly 24 hours, I literally couldn’t stay awake and proceeded to sleep hard. It was a good thing.

Also last night, I was eating some mashed potatoes when I realized one of my back teeth felt a bit too sharp. It could be absolutely nothing and I’m freaking out for the same reason but, right now, I’m waiting on my dentist’s office to open. He is great about getting me in quickly for emergent situations, and I appreciate that more than I can say.

Dental hygiene is SUUUUUUUUUPER important to me.

The ironic part is that I was just at his office last week for my six month cleaning.

So, what I’m getting at (poorly), is that I can think of little else at the moment other than my potentially chipped tooth.

I know this has nothing to do with games.

Over the past week I’ve not been super well or super efficient in playing games. It’s a bummer but I don’t want to bore you with the mundane details. Suffice to say, I’m not living up to my gaming potential. Today I will start Tomb Raider or Spider-Man; I haven’t decided which.

Probably Tomb Raider. I could go for that kind of setting right now.

As I write this, I see the thumbnail icon on my PS4 menu letting me know my pre-order of Hollow Knight is downloaded and ready to play in one day and two and a half hours. I kind of like that Sony does that. It’s fun to see a title you’re excited to play count down to availability. I also like that pre-ordered games download a couple of days in advance so they are ready to play the moment of release.

Technology can be cool sometimes.

It’s been a heck of a week, a challenging one for me, so I’m hoping this week is better. But, right now, I’m all about getting to the dentist to get this figured out. I’m really lucky in that I like my dentist a lot.

This one is going to be short. I’m sorry for that. Some days are long, and some are short. This one just happens to be the latter.

This week, I’m hoping to also play Transference, and to start in on Strange Brigade. I’m also hoping to go back to Asemblance: Oversight to see all the endings. I keep thinking about it and I want to see everything.
