Is anyone out there reading this? Hellooooooooo?
It may be the time of year and it may be that my writing lacks interest for people (or both), but it has been quieter than usual around these parts.
I miss you. Yes you.
I try very hard to engage people and to foster discussion but I feel I’m faltering at even that, lately.
I gots the sadz.
Hopefully I can turn all this around in the coming year. And if you’re here reading this: you have my sincere gratitude.
Being a pretend writer can really take it out of a person. Being a pretend writer, four days a week for years on end, can just hoove it all out.
Rebekah, out.

Oh, and I wanted to ask – are you still gonna do all the live stream stuff? I know you had planned to before The Great Sickening, but I hope that’s still in the works, because I would totally participate.

It’s funny you mention that; I’ve been thinking about my plans for 2018 and streaming is right up there. I’m going to make a feedback post early next week to see if there is interest there.
We should ABSOLUTELY play some Quiplash. Or Jackbox in general. But, yes, it’s on the radar for sure.

I wish I could laugh react here, but that was HILARIOUS. Thank you. :) I loved that part in Twin Peaks and it means so much to me that you’re here and reading.

I’m here! I’ve been busy working but I read your posts, you’ve an audience in me. I hope that 2018 treats you better (and for me too). I’ve so many games in my backlog that I can’t wait to tackle them all.

Oh Megan, I know you are crazy crazy busy. Any time you are here, I appreciate it so much. And I sincerely hope 2018 is better for both of us. It has to be, right?
And let’s get to those backlogs! WE CAN DO IT!!

Hellllllloooooooooooo! I may not reply to all of your blogs; trust that I read every word that you have written since I have started following you Rebekah. It’s been a pleasure to read your thoughts, game with you, & be considered a friend. Fyi, I’m an introvert at heart. I only take to a small groups of friends. I’m just saying! Ciao for now!

Hellooooooooo! Oh Richard, no worries! You comment often! I always love your comments. And I can’t tell you how much it means to me that you are here and reading and supportive. Thank you for your friendship!
I did not know that! I hope you never feel uncomfortable here. I have a lot of introverted aspects as well, so I definitely get it. Hug.

Hellooooooooo! And I’m so sorry you can relate to this. I was always under the impression that you had quite a lot of traffic on your site? You get so many likes. I mean, I don’t know your numbers, but I know what it’s like to wonder…what am I doing?
Oh, also, I saw you added other writers to your site! How is that?
But really, thank you for your kindness and support. I appreciate it more than I can say.

Lol, I do have some 40 visitors to the site daily, which is sometimes consider a wonder, and sometimes I can’t understand that there aren’t more after almost four years of writing.
Still, I’m thankful for everyone who reads my articles. I asked for writers to the site, as it can sometimes be so daunting to write it all alone. Nice to confer with other people. Not easy though to give away control! But so far, it’s going well.

You are way ahead of me, then! And I hear you, I am also right around the same time period and I’m just grateful for each and every person who comes by. But I do sometimes wonder what I could be doing to increase views. I am pretty much assuming what I’m writing isn’t relevant or of interest.
But yes, I am right there with you. I am also incredibly grateful for each person who comes to my site to engage.
I hope your new writers ease that burden!

I’ve often wondered the same, what can one do to increase the number of visitors. On the other hand, there are so many sites about games out there, that it’s a small wonder that we even manage to attract some. Maybe the way to go would be to vlog. It’s all the rage isn’t it? But I just don’t see myself doing that. You had plans to make a video right?

I think you’re absolutely correct. There are so many places for people to spend their digital time, how they find us is interesting for sure.
Oh gosh, I do NOT want to be on videos right now. Though I do plan on starting to stream early next year.

For starters, I wouldn’t know where to start! And although I can converse in English well enough, delivering a smooth performance in a language that’s not native to me….that could be a challenge!

But that could also be a big draw for people, honestly. People love accents!!
