300 Posts “Strong” (And The Milestone Keeps Rolling)

300 (not the movie full of stylized abs).

Last night, I posted the 300th piece to my website. 300. That simultaneously seems like so many, and yet, somehow, so few.

What a lot of words.

I have so much gratitude for so many things, but I specifically want to thank a few groups of people for their support and general wonderfulness.

I would like to thank the 109 people who follow this website. You have no idea how much your participation here means to me. Thank you.

(If you would like to also follow my website and be notified of each new post, at the bottom left of every page, there is an option to do so via email. If you feel so inclined, I welcome you heartily.)

I would like to thank the 121 people who have “liked” my Facebook writing page. For every piece I post here, I post a link there, and so many of you have come here to read my work. I can’t thank you enough.

I would like to thank the 82 people who follow me on Twitter (even though I’m a terrible Tweeter or whatever you call someone who Tweets). I’m trying to branch out and Tweet things other than simply links to something I’ve written.

I would like to thank Christopher Williams who continues to support my endeavors in a hilarious and heartfelt way. I can’t thank him enough. If you are so inclined, take a look at his YouTube channel. He is genuinely creative, funny, and engaging.

I would like to thank 8-Worlds News for allowing me a home away from home and to write my silly little features for them.

And of course, there are a two people who are habitually supportive that I’d like to call out a special thank you to:

Colton. I’m grateful you are my friend. Your support of reading what I write is a bonus. Thank you.

Todd. If it weren’t for you, the whole Rube Goldberg device that is my writing would grind to some sort of loud and painful halt. You’re pretty much the best thing ever (though, of course, you aren’t a “thing”), and I’m ever so grateful to spend all my times with you. Your proximity is the very finest proximity.

And thank YOU. Yes YOU who is reading this. For you to end up here, of all the places you could be on the internet, of all the things you could be doing, well, that’s the highest compliment you could pay me. Thank you for being here and for being you. Cheers to each one of you.

Here is to 300 more posts, to progress, and to making things happen.

300. Cheers.

  1. There is a great sex scene in 300: Rise of an Empire, btw. This post made me think of that.

    • It’s a general rule of mine to avoid death and mayhem. So I will continue in that vein.

Also, thank you. Truly. I can not tell you how much it means to me that you read anything I write.

  3. Yay milestones! I’ve lately been absent for long periods of time and then come back when I have time and “Netflix it” to catch up. But I always come back and will continue to do so. Write on!
